Bankside and Beyond

banksideJust south of the river is one of London’s most dynamic areas with regeneration projects valued in the billions. Borough, Bankside and Bermondsey are in a sustained period of change, with the arrival of many new developments such as Neo Bankside by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, The Shard and London Bridge Place (nicknamed Baby Shard).

New cultural venues have moved into one of the oldest quarters of London as industrial buildings Hop Exchange and Menier Chocolate Factory are being put to new uses.

Walking tour, departing from City of London Information Centre, St Paul's Churchyard EC4M 8BX at 10am.
