Legislation and regulation have set expectations and standards for energy efficient buildings, but embedding low-carbon solutions remains a pressing challenge for the industry, its clients and customers. How do we make sustainability part of everyday working practice across the industry?

Open-City's Green Sky Thinking provided some of the answers through a London-wide programme highlighting new thinking and practice that showed how to 'design in' sustainabilit from 17 to 22 Sept.

Our Green Sky Thinking initiative supports sustainable solutions by enabling the industry and its clients – including planners, developers, housing associations, property managers, the public sector and homeowners – to

- find out about sustainable and retrofit solutions that really work
- learn how to make the most of business opportunities around ‘green growth’
- understand the latest innovations and technologies
- talk face-to-face to leaders in new build and retrofit

Green Sky Thinking aims to offer a varied programme of informal daytime and evening talks, seminars, roundtable discussions, building/site tours, demonstrations and other activities across London.
