Join RIBA for a fun packed family day that will include hands on drop-in and timed workshops. We like the look of ‘We’ve Got You Pegged’ where you’ll get the chance to create a large-scale mural from pegs and Constructing Stories - Storytime

The Big Architecture Family Day

Promising a full programme of family friendly activities in the beautiful surrounds of the newly expanded Royal Academy. The LEGO Architecture Challenge promises to be the highlight. Watch the pros turn their hand to LEGO, as some of the UK’s leading architectural practises battle it out to create the most innovative and imaginative ‘identity’ project.

Let’s Build London! 

Head down to one of London’s favourite skyscrapers to follow a real town planning brief from Chapman Taylor, 18 Degrees and VMZINC. Budding architects (age 7+) can design and construct buildings and spaces around the river Thames.

Where We Live: 3D Map Making 

Let your imagination run riot and make a creative map of your local area at Sir John Soane’s Museum. Children can get creative making pop-up versions of their own local landmarks, using materials ranging from card and foam to LEGO!
