Healthy Minds: Improving Health and Wellbeing in Schools

14 May 2018

18:00 pm – 20:00 pm

Hawkins Brown Offices

159 St. John Street

In this workshop, we will explore how our approach to school design can improve the health and wellbeing of students and teachers. Hawkins\Brown has always championed simple, passive architectural solutions to providing joyful, robust and well-loved buildings. This workshop will explore how, by embracing new technology such as engineered timber and pre-fabrication, we can meet the challenge of providing cost-effective, well-designed spaces for learning that benefit the people who use them. The wider team involved in a range of recent projects will discuss the design ethos, delivery and lessons learnt for future work.

We will explore these options together in a workshop format with plenty of time for questions to our panel, and over drinks.
