London is home to some of the world’s finest urban parks and gardens. The challenge is how can we connect people to green space and ensure there are more trees, less pollution and nature becomes part of everyone’s everyday lives. How do we make sure new development creates space for beauty and nature at the same time as building 66,000 new homes a year, for at least the next decade?

Berkeley is committed to delivering a net biodiversity gain on every site. Put simply, that means there will be more nature afterwards than before we began. This event will explore our commitment to net gain and provide delegates with the opportunity to visit the living roof at our Goodman’s Field development which includes a chalk grass land.
