Ways of Living

Meet at The Collective, NW10 6FF

22 - 23 September 2018

Adult walking tour.

Old Oak and Park Royal are places where industry and people live side by side. Join Magdalen Evans to unearth the alternative ways that local residents past, present and future have set up home. Participants will then visit the Kensal Rise Association of Boaters (KRAB) in Mitre Wharf Moorings to discover a small thriving boat community, passing through charming railway cottages along the way. Free places for tours will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis from a sign-up desk at The Collective from 11am. The capacity for each tour is 15 adults. Please note that this walk covers quite a distance and so please wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes.

Lifting the Lid on Old Oak and Park Royal is part of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation’s activity with the Great Place Scheme which has been supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
