We are thrilled to announce that leading architecture practice Allford Hall Monaghan Morris has become the first built environment company to join Open City’s new Partners Programme supporting the reopening of London for all in 2021.

This will be a critical year of recovery across the world and a special one for Open City as we celebrate 30 years of the Open House Festival. For 2021 the charity is planning a rich series of programmes rebuilding public confidence and supporting a strong recovery centred on reopening London with safe, engaging events across the capital for citizens of all backgrounds. We are thrilled that AHMM will be supporting us in this work and our wider mission of making the city more open, accessible and equitable.

Phineas Harper, chief executive of Open City said: ‘Since they were founded in 1989, AHMM has become one of the nation’s leading architecture practices with offices in the USA and Bristol as well as London. AHMM has stood by Open City throughout the pandemic supporting us to deliver a remarkably impactful programme in challenging circumstances including staging the 2020 Open House Festival and relaunching Accelerate. I couldn’t be more pleased that they have now chosen to join our new Open City Partners Programme.’

AHMM has joined as an Open City Champion, the highest of three tiers of support in a three year partnership.
