Open House Festival 2026

12-20 September

Open House Festival is a London-wide festival that opens up and celebrates the city’s built environment. Every year, buildings and other sites across all 33 London boroughs open to the public, so that Londoners can explore them for free.

The 2026 festival will take place 12-20 September and will be the 35th edition. You can get involved by attending open days and events during the festival, opening a building or running an event yourself, or helping us to make the festival happen by volunteering your time.

We are also open to discussing sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

“I always loved London. Open House just makes me discover new reasons to love it.”

Contributor

If you’re one of the individuals, groups, collectives or organisations planning to open up a building or run an event during the festival, then you are an Open House Festival contributor. Thank you! The festival would not be possible without you.

Contributors open their doors during the festival because they want to welcome other Londoners in and share something. It might be that you have a particular story to tell or work you want to raise awareness of through reaching new audiences. Perhaps you want to celebrate your building - whether it has a rich social history, is an example of good design, or both. Or you might simply want to share a space or a neighbourhood with your local community and the wider city. Read the Open House Festival 2025 Impact Report to see what we managed to achieve with last year’s festival.
