You will find the password for the Friends area of our website in either: 1) the Friends welcome email which you should have received upon joining, or 2) the first Friends newsletter of the year.

Please remember to check your spam if you are having trouble. If you still cannot find it, we are more than happy to email you the password on request.

We will aim to have tickets go live two weeks before the date of each event.

Tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis, and we are also trialling a ticket ballot to ensure more equal access to events.

Each time new tickets go on sale we will let you know via our Friends Newsletter.

Tickets will be bookable on via our shop website on release, with a small fee to cover administration and reduce the likelihood of people dropping out of the events.

Events can be found here and will also be shared via email.

No tickets for tours are issued, the guide will have your name on arrival. Information about your tour including meet point and duration can be found on the event listing on our website here.

Our tours go ahead rain or shine and tickets are non refundable. If you find you can no longer make the tour we are unable to transfer you to another date, but please feel free to pass your booked place onto a friend to go in your place. The ticket will remain in your name.

Due to the above transfer policy we do not operate a waiting list for tours. Most of our tours run regularly so there will be another tour date in the future. Make sure you are signed up to the Open City enewsletter at the bottom of this page to hear new tour dates first.
