Applications are now open for Open House Festival 2025
Will 2025 be the year you open your doors as part of our annual celebration of London’s architecture, heritage, neighbourhoods and communities? We are now open for applications for this year’s edition of the Open House Festival, which will take place 13-21 September.
If you have a building you want to show, a neighbourhood you want to share or a story you want to tell as part of this year's festival programme, then we want to hear from you.
We have a wealth of resources available to help you. If you’re unsure of where to start, take our short quiz. Then have a look at our guidance on the practicalities of applying; our curatorial criteria, which lay out what we’ll be looking for when reading applications; our suggestions for when to run your activities during the festival, based on which borough you’re in; our guide to planning and running your festival open day or event; and, finally, sign up to attend one or more of our online contributor surgeries, where you’ll have an opportunity to speak to a member of the festival team. Our final deadline for applications is 1 July.
For those of you who are looking forward to visiting buildings and other events during the festival, a preview of the programme will be published on the festival website on 16 July, with the full programme going live for bookings at midday on 20 August. We’ll also be running ballots for a handful of the most in-demand buildings. Dates and details will be announced in this newsletter over the coming months.
