Open House Festival Poster Competition

Are you an aspiring designer, student or creative looking for a challenge? To celebrate the 30th birthday of Open House, we want you to design the poster for the 2021 festival.

The Open House Festival is the capital’s largest celebration of architecture, design, engineering and public space. Now in its 30th year, the festival is a truly city-wide celebration of the buildings, places and neighbourhoods that make London special. A simple but powerful concept, the festival provides an opportunity for ordinary people to explore buildings and spaces they are ordinarily locked out of and to learn about London’s incredible architecture, history and neighbourhoods  through directly experiencing great buildings and places.

Every year, we print and send posters out to all of the buildings and events that take part in the festival, we also use the same design for our digital marketing across our social media, website and newsletters.

Download the Competition Brief to find out more and how to enter.

There are 5 themes and a winner will be chosen for each theme. Of those 5 winners, an overall winner will be chosen by public vote. The 5 winners designs will be used for our digital marketing campaign and the overall winner’s design will be printed as an A2 poster and distributed to the participants of the event to display at their events.

The overall winner will also receive a cash prize of £250!

Entries close midnight on 12th July
