Last week, we attended the opening of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition, curated by architect and engineer Carlo Ratti in Venice. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the launch of two exciting new partnerships to expand the Open House Worldwide network across Africa and Asia.

The first partnership is with the British Council as part of their UK-Kenya season to organise a workshop in Nairobi later this year with potential festival organisers from different African cities, as well as to enable greater collaboration between our respective global networks.

The second partnership is with Secure Meters, who both supported the event in Venice and are keen to establish the first Indian Open House Festival in Udaipur.

Our event was also a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with current members of the worldwide network who were in Venice for the Biennale, thanks to those of you we met!
