Joanna Oyediran

Joanna Oyediran is a human rights researcher and local historian living in Shepherd’s Bush. She’s led guided walks on behalf of organizations including Open City, Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art.

Her walk on White City reveals the hidden history of the spectacular exhibitions that defined the area in the early twentieth century and the imperialist vision they reflected - a vision that continues to influence White City’s built environment today. In 2022, Joanna founded Iya London, which develops guided walks that unearths and share London’s overlooked stories, past and present.
