City of London Live Broadcast Cycle Tour

A second London lockdown is looming but intrepid architectural criticism must march join. Join Merlin Fulcher and his loyal cameraman Phineas Harper as they embark on a live journey of critical discussion in the heart of the City of London from this very web page.

Starting at Leadenhall Market, Fulcher and Harper will explore and interrogate the landmarks of London’s oldest borough from the Gherkin to the Guildhall by bike, discussing the conditions of the city as they go.

This show will be broadcast continuously and unedited – an experiment in socially-distanced architectural film making and a test of technology as London switches to a new phase of its fight with the pandemic.

Merlin Fulcher is editor of the Open City Podcast and a journalist at the Architects’ Journal.
