Open City celebrates Trellick Tower’s 50th anniversary

Saturday 9 July 12-8pm

Ernö Goldfinger’s Trellick Tower is 50 years old this year. The Grade II*-listed building is part of the Cheltenham Estate in Kensal Rise. It comprises 157 flats in the main tower and a further 60 apartments in the lower block.

On Saturday 9 July, the Trellick Tower Residents Association is holding a festival to celebrate the past, present and future of this stunning building. Open City will be hosting a pop-up stall and several homes in both the tower itself and the adjacent Edenham Way will be open to the public for tours.

There will also be a talk from architect James Dunnett, who worked with Goldfinger early in his career, plus food stalls, graffiti writers and live music.
