Thank you Burberry

Walking tour of Knightsbridge created by Open City for Burberry and written by Caz Facey

Following a successful collaboration co-creating a printed walking guide to the architecture of Knightsbridge, Open City is delighted to have received a donation from the iconic London fashion brand Burberry.

The donation, which is to support Open City’s work with young people from under-represented communities, will be used to deliver in-school design workshops, trips, and mentoring through the charity’s award-winning outreach and education programmes.

Chief Executive of Open City Phineas Harper said: “There are few brands as synonymous with London as Burberry. As a charity dedicated to telling rich and accessible stories about the capital’s history and architecture, it was fantastic to work with the Burberry team on the development of our new Knightsbridge walking tour by Caz Facey. I am thrilled that Burberry has chosen to further support Open CIty’s important work with young Londoners by making this donation. On behalf of the charity I would like to thank everyone at Burberry and Open City for making this collaboration such a success.”

The Knightsbridge walking tour is written by Caz Facey and available for free from Harrods as part of Burberry’s month-long takeover of the department store which runs until February 29.
