Your thoughts on the future of The Brief podcast?

We are marking the 199th edition of The Brief (formerly known as Londown) by pausing to create a new format launching in the autumn

Since launching in early 2021 we have reviewed a wealth of architectural news and media with a huge variety of guests all the while bringing you – our valued audience – what we hope has always been an accessible and engaging insight into the forces that shape our built environment.

Thank you to all our amazing guests who gave our audience their time and insights over the years, to our hosts Frances Williams and Sahiba Chadha, to our producers Hunter Charlton, Poppy Waring, Paige Reynolds and Artemis Irvine, and to our dedicated audiences listening to every show!

We also owe a great deal of gratitude to all our collaborators who have helped make the project such a success along the way, including our media partner Architects’ Journal, sponsor Bloomberg Connects, and charity partners Twentieth Century Society, The London Society and SAVE Britain's Heritage.

To mark this momentous occasion, our flagship show on the Open City Podcast channel will take a short break over the summer ahead of a relaunch in the autumn with an all new and revised format. New editions of Deconstructed and The Home That Made Me podcast will continue to publish both on our channel and via Resonance FM.

We are keen to hear your thoughts on what makes this show so listenable and where it can be improved. So please get in touch via podcasts@open-city.org.uk . Thank you for listening and supporting The Brief. It is truly appreciated.
