As part of our new live-streamed series of tours of remarkable interiors across the capital, we will be exploring the East Studio at the Old Saint Patrick’s School in Spitalfields.
Old Saint Patrick’s School was first built as a Catholic school for the ‘religious and secular education of poor boys and girls’ in 1833, in Spitalfields, east London. In the late twentieth century it was carefully converted into artists studios and homes. Cristina Monteiro and David Knight of DK-CM have lived in the building since 2006, currently in East Studio, a 1913 extension of the original school.

At Home With Open House
At Home with Open House is a new series created to satiate the need to see beyond what the square of your laptop will allow. Join us over the coming months for lunchtime tours in which invited Londoners will give live-streamed video tours of the homes they have been locked down in from architect-designed contemporary apartments to historic houses and boats on the Thames.
See more upcoming events in the series at Open City’s events page.
