As part of our new live-streamed series of tours of remarkable interiors across the capital, architectural model maker Christian Spencer-Davies will show us around his apartment in Neave Brown’s Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate.
The estate was commissioned by LB Camden under the leadership of the acclaimed borough architect Sydney Cook and is one of the most extensive and pioneering low rise complexes of social housing in the capital.
Christian Spencer-Davies, who is well known in architectural circles as a maker of vibrant and character models, will be joined remotely by guest interviewers Roz Peebles and Aidan Hall, who have studied the estate extensively and give regular tours of it and other Camden-commissioned schemes from Cook’s era.

Christian is an experienced model maker and now offers expert services as a 'creative model making consultant'. He says his favourite part of architectural model making is interpreting the brief with the client and suggesting effective, creative and economical solutions to help communicate the spirit of their architecture.
